e were nervous about meeting Ollie North, but there was no reason to be. He hosted a successful D.C. radio show, and his days as an architect of secret government were clearly over. He had been on TV, he was exposed, he took a fall, he resigned, and he didn’t go to jail for even a day. Now he chatted it up with guests, read ad copy, gave harmless editorials, and talked about his favorite restaurants. He interviewed us about our book, and said it made him proud to be an American. |
